Who Are the Main Publishers in USA Today?

Hi folks,

I’m considering both traditional and self-publishing routes and want to know more about the main publishers in USA. I hear Amazon Kindle Network is a strong self-publishing option, but I’m curious about traditional players too. Which route did you go, and why? Are the big-name publishers still relevant for new authors, or is the indie path the smarter move now?
