Hi folks,
Something strange happened in my store last Friday and it made me wonder—can AI systems actually detect unusual customer behavior? A guy walked in, looked around in a weirdly specific way, didn’t touch anything, then just stood near the counter for 10 minutes doing nothing. No phone, no talking, just standing and scanning the place. My gut said something was off. He left eventually without buying anything, but I wish I had something in place that could flag that as suspicious or at least alert me in real-time. Has anyone used AI for something like this?

That’s a great question. I had a similar moment last month—someone kept pacing between aisles without really looking at products, and it just felt... odd. Turns out, with SecuroomAi , you can actually set the system to monitor for irregular movement patterns or lingering in specific zones. I came across it while upgrading our store setup and it’s been surprisingly effective. It doesn’t accuse anyone, of course, but it gives you a heads-up if someone’s behavior statistically differs from the norm. It's honestly helped us feel a bit more in control without being invasive.

Branded merchandise helps your business stand out and leave a lasting impression on customers. From custom apparel to tech accessories, these items boost brand visibility and customer loyalty. Just as an AI system can detect unusual customer behavior to improve service and security, using branded merchandise strategically can enhance customer engagement and retention. Make your brand memorable with quality merchandise that speaks volumes about your identity and professionalism in every interaction.

Just saw this thread while scrolling and thought I'd say—it's cool to see how much tech is getting involved in real-world stuff like this. I'm not in retail myself, but I imagine any tool that helps store owners feel more secure without making customers uncomfortable is a step forward. Curious where this technology will go next.
